Badminton Club Kopstal – Une tradition d’excellence depuis 1984
Fondé en 1984, le Badminton Club Kopstal fait partie des clubs pionniers du badminton au Luxembourg. Fort d’une riche histoire sportive, le club a été champion de Luxembourg lors des saisons 1992/1993 et 1994/1995, grâce à l’engagement et aux performances de Pierre Bollig, Henry Meyer et Christian Wagener.
Le club est ouvert aux enfants, aux jeunes ainsi qu’aux adultes et seniors, et s’engage à promouvoir le badminton dans un esprit sportif, convivial et formateur. Les compétitions officielles sont organisées sous l’égide de la Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Badminton (FELUBA). En collaboration avec celle-ci, le Badminton Club Kopstal organise régulièrement des tournois reconnus tels que le MASTERS (Adultes) et la TALENT CUP (Jeunes).
Pour les saisons a venir, le club envisage l’organisation de nouveaux tournois, sous réserve de la disponibilité des infrastructures et du calendrier officiel de la FELUBA, afin de continuer à dynamiser le badminton au niveau national.
Badminton Club Kopstal – A Tradition of Excellence Since 1984
Founded in 1984, Badminton Club Kopstal is one of the pioneering badminton clubs in Luxembourg. With a strong sporting history, the club proudly became Luxembourg Champion in the 1992/1993 and 1994/1995 seasons, thanks to the dedication and performances of Pierre Bollig, Henry Meyer and Christian Wagener.
The club is open to children, youth, adults and seniors, and is committed to promoting badminton in a friendly, inclusive and competitive environment. Official badminton tournaments in Luxembourg are organized under the authority of the Luxembourg Badminton Federation (FELUBA). In close cooperation with FELUBA, Badminton Club Kopstal regularly hosts official tournaments such as the MASTERS (Adults) and the TALENT CUP (Youth).
For the coming seasons, the club plans to organize additional tournaments, subject to hall availability and the official FELUBA competition calendar, further contributing to the development of badminton at national level.
